IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Church Center App Check-In
You can check in by downloading the Church Center app and creating a free account. Upon downloading the application, just search for ‘The Clearing Church’ in the app and make it your primary church. Then proceed to the ‘Check-In’ function within the app, which is made available in the app 2 hours prior to drop-off. Once you add your children to your profile, it will allow you to check in your kids before you even arrive at church, making the process of checking in your kids a breeze. When you arrive at church, proceed to the Clearing Kids check-in booth, scan the QR code at the station, and your kids will be checked in and ready to go to Kids Church or Nursery whenever their designated drop-off time is.

9:45 AM (nursery only)
10:30 AM: Pre-school - 5th Grade.
(Dismissal for pre-school through 5th Graders happens at 10:30 during worship in the main sanctuary)
Pick-up: 12:00 PM
Sunday Morning Service: 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Age Groups
We receive children aged from 0 - 11 years old, broken into the following groups:
Nursery: 0-1 years
Pre-K: 2-4 years
Lower Elementary: 5-7 years
Upper Elementary: 8 - 11 years (up to 5th grade)

Registration opens via the SIGNUPS/CHECKIN tab on the Church Center app two hours before service at 10:00AM.

Nursery age children can be checked-in and dropped off from 9:45-10:00am.
All other children age 3-11 years old will attend worship with their parents in the main Sanctuary for the first 30 minutes of service (10:00am - 10:30am). At 10:30am, a notification will pop up on the large screen at the front of the sanctuary indicating that the children are dismissed to Kids’ church. At that time, you may escort them to the Kids Wing secure door to drop them off for Kids Church for the rest of The Clearing’s service.

Every child must be registered and checked in through the Church Center App.
If your child has any allergies or health limitations, such as diabetes, please make sure that information is included in their registration details, and please let the kids team members know as needed.

Each parent receives a unique child code available to them upon check-in in the form of a sticker. The identification code matches their child’s name sticker that they will receive upon check-in.
When a parent is needed to attend to the needs of their child, the code will show up on the main screen in the sanctuary, signaling that your presence is needed. Upon seeing your unique code, please promptly go to the Kids Wing secure door and wait for a Team Member to bring your child to you.

For the sake of security and your child's safety, our team members will never perform diaper changes or assist your child in the bathroom.
Kids always get potty breaks during church, but our Kids team members will never go into the bathroom with your child; this is against our policy. If your child needs any assistance at all, going potty or needing a diaper change, we will page you for assistance.

Yes, all of our volunteer team members have been background checked and trained to make the Kids Wing as secure and safe as possible. The Kids Wing is also completely locked down from the rest of the church during service, which prevents any unnecessary individuals from making their way into the Kids Wing.
Curriculum with the Word & the Spirit
Clearing Kids isn’t a childcare; it’s all about discipleship. We use an originally created curriculum that emphasizes the Word and the Spirit. We invite kids into the Biblical study of redemptive history and teach them how to hear God’s voice for themselves, through powerful lesson videos, crafts, activations, and prayer.
