Ethan & Lydia Bricker - Senior Leaders
Ethan & Lydia Bricker are the Senior Leaders & Founding Pastors of The Clearing. Their passion is to build a vibrant community of people who seek the presence of God and cultivate hearts that are unwavering towards Him. They are zealous about the next generations running full bore in their God given purpose of ensuring Jesus receives the reward of His suffering. Ethan & Lydia have the honor of raising four beautiful children.

Erica Provo - Kids Pastor
Erica has been a part of The Clearing since its very beginning and is the Kids Pastor for our church. She is passionate about children coming to know Jesus in a very real and authentic way. Her #1 desire is that the children at The Clearing would have a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus and that they would grow up as living examples of what it means to follow Him. Erica brings so much joy, fun, and laughter to our community!

David & Jan Pontzer
Jan and David Pontzer are Elder Board Members of The Clearing who are retired and reside in Port Sanilac. They have two sons and four grandchildren. They are passionate about their walk with God and His community. David is the author of the book The Whispered Shout: Hear God's Secrets in Your Story
Rodney & Lesa Bricker
Rodney & Lesa are founding board members at The Clearing and their desire is for the Lord’s kingdom to come at any cost. They are passionate about the finished work of the cross, communion with the Lord, and making space for the Lord to truly be with us. Rod and Lesa have been blessed with three children and nine grandchildren.
